Now Enrolling: Phase III Clinical Trial for Generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG)
Why this Trial?
Iptacopan is an investigational drug that works by blocking a specific protein in the immune system to help prevent the muscle weakness caused by gMG. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of this treatment compared to a placebo over a 6-month treatment phase, followed by follow-up visits.
The core study lasts roughly 9 months and includes approximately 11 clinic visits at our research site.
Who Can Participate?
You may be eligible to join if you:
- Are between 18 and 85 years of age.
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of Generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG) with positive AChR+ antibodies.
- Are currently experiencing significant non-ocular symptoms of gMG (muscle weakness, fatigue, etc.).
- Have been on a stable gMG treatment (like NSISTs, IVIG/PLEX, FcRN antagonists, or Rituximab) for at least 6 months.
